Women's rights are human rights
Women have battled for equality and against oppression for centuries. Although some battles have been partly won, such as the right to vote and equal access to education. Women are still greatly affected by all forms of violence and discrimination in every aspect of life. Almost everywhere globally, women are denied their human rights due to their gender. Women's rights are not special rights. They are human rights enshrined in international human rights treaties. Rights of freedom from discrimination, right to life, right of choice, access to health and decent living conditions, right to safety are not favours to women, but their birth right. To make this world a better place to live for us and our children, we have to join hands to create this shift in fair thinking and behaviour.
We are running a series of videos on Q&A on Gender Roles to create more awareness on how we are living unconsciously with some obsolete beliefs that are not serving us in today's era. We look forward to your feedback and support on spreading this shift to make our current and future generation more empowered and accepting. Let us together build back this world into a more happier place to live.
