“She believes that by healing the present moment, we heal the past and the future.”
After spending a weeklong retreat with Tulin on Shamanism, through various journeys, I received many insights and answers to some of my life experiences. Receiving decades of wisdom from various teachers and through self-reflection, I have come to understand how important it is to embrace our shadows.
The more we hate, suppress and curb aspects of ourselves and others, the more fragmented our soul becomes. To heal, we need to accept and create a healthy balance by creating and practicing healthy boundaries.
Insights:
-
When we set healthy boundaries, we can own our life.
-
There is goodness in everything. There is nothing bad in us. We have only parts inside us not functioning at the right time, at the right place.
-
We can only be enlightened if we bring our shadow to the light.
-
If we are in the world as spiritual beings, we need to pay attention to the material world and go back to the spiritual realm by taking experiences of this ordinary reality.
-
As shamans say when we are ill, we have lost a part of our soul, and it is our responsibility to seek for it and bring it back.
-
Unfortunately, darkness also spreads itself through healing and spirituality by using spiritual ego.
-
Without working enough on themselves, people announce themselves as spiritual teachers and gurus after attending only weekend workshops.
“By healing the present moment, we heal the past and the future.” -Tulin Etyemez Schimberg
Go past the judgements that hold you back from connection with your highest being.
