Have you heard of the saying, 'what goes around, comes around'? That is the circle of life.
Our thoughts, intentions, and actions form bricks of our house called our life. If our actions are powerful, stable and dependable, our life will resonate that back to us and our house will be strong to withstand any storm.
However, if we keep a casual approach to our life, we will receive that casual approach from others. If we wish to have it different, then we have to change our approach.
We cannot give love to others and receive love from them if we deprive ourselves of that love. The channel of giving and taking has to be ever-flowing. Remember when you give, someone has allowed you to give by receiving it.
Similarly, when you receive you have allowed someone to experience giving. Both actions are essential in life, and we often judge and hold ourselves from either giving or receiving. We are brought up in a society where taking or receiving is considered a selfish act. However, if our intentions are not selfish and manipulative, then we are helping ourselves and others to flow in the circle of life with the cycle of sharing.
If giving makes you feel good, remember the receiver helped you by receiving it. Similarly, when you like receiving, allow yourself to taste the act of giving.
Are you open to both sides of giving and receiving equally?
