We are better advisors to others than to our own self. Why? When it is a third party, you may look out of the box and be objective. Your awareness, breath, and mind function in harmony. But the moment it comes to your own self or close ones, your mind gets caught up in the drama and is unable to function objectively. Your breath starts getting shallow, and you feel boxed-in.
To keep it all going smoothly, you have to practice mindfulness, breathwork, and observing skills. The more you practice them, the more expanded your Consciousness will be, and you will be more prepared to deal with any surprise life throws at you.
Look beyond the body and the mind. Connect with the space that sees it all, knows more than the sum of all your experiences put together. You will be better prepared to handle the roller coaster ride of life.
